Mackenzie

As a BSc Human Ecology/BEd Secondary student, Mackenzie is passionate about aging studies. She is a Research Assistant on an aging-related research project in the Department of Human Ecology and has received a number of research awards (such as the Roger Smith Undergraduate Researcher Award and the Undergraduate Research Initiative Stipend) to conduct research projects on aging, including research on a world-renowned dementia village in Holland. For her Stretch Experience, Mackenzie is traveling to Kobe, Japan for an internship at the World Health Organization’s Centre for Health Development and to San Francisco, USA for the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics World Congress.
