Michael is a student in the geology with specialization program. His interest in Earth Science was sparked from the fascinating and beautiful rocks he found while walking along a riverbend in Banff when he first moved to Canada. Michael hopes to pursue a Master of Science degree in hydro-geology in order to support industries with safe and environmentally responsible use of water resources. In his spare time, Michael loves to play guitar and saxophone. He was the lead saxophonist in his high school jazz band. Michael also enjoys reading a variety of books with topics ranging from economics to history. Michael is actively participating in school clubs and volunteering opportunities, including the handball club and teaching guitar to elementary students.
