Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology (with distinction) and her Certificate in Sustainability in June 2016. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in finance. On campus, Rachel served as a peer advisor with InfoLink through the Students’ Union and as a mentor in the peer mentorship program through the department of psychology. She is currently vice-president fundraising for the SeniorCare Club. Off-campus, Rachel has volunteered for several local agencies, including HART, Telus World of Science, and the Cross Cancer Institute. Rachel has worked with Inclusion Alberta providing care to children with developmental disabilities while their parents attend educational conferences. She served as a deputy returning officer in both the last federal election and the last Alberta provincial election. Rachel is currently employed with the City of Edmonton as a recreation technician. In her spare time she enjoys painting and travelling.
